About Me
Resume
I am a quick study and have figured out how to do almost anything needed through self-study and online tutorials. As I progress in my career, I hope to advance to Lead Designer of a team and even run my own division. Also, I plan to go to Graduate School to get degrees in Computer Science and possibly Management Information Systems.
My Background

I have been designing for nearly all of my life. As a kid, I started with sketches and hand-drawn artwork and moved to computer-assisted artwork in 2002. From an early age I recognized my special gift for design and have continually looked to improve and expand my skill set. I also have a background in computer science which aids me in writing code for websites and learning Action Script for Adobe Flash.
I attended Texas A&M University to get more formal education in graphic design. I also gained a background in Architecture systems. While in college, I designed media items for the Department of Greek life and for my local chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. I graduated with a degree in Environmental Design and continued to design for various clients I had collected in college. While out of college and in between jobs, I expanded my clientele to various small business and organizations in the Houston and Dallas areas. Currently, I work as a Multimedia Design Engineer in New Mexico. Mainly utilizing Adobe Flash for work-related projects, I have expanded my skill set to include Adobe Illustrator and Soundbooth.
I excel in designing Logos, Flyers, Brochures and Souvenir Journals, CSS-based Websites, and Flash animations.
I am especially proficient in Photoshop, Flash, InDesign and AfterEffects.
